Suffering Repeated Vaginal Thrush and Also From Anxiety - A Case and Problem

A lot of problems may arise when you have candida, for example my friend. She is getting increasingly distressed by her problems and wondered if I could shed some light on them. She has suffered repeated vaginal thrush for some four years - has suffered recently/presently.

Over the last four months or so, she has been suffering from anxiety. This has more recently led to sleep disturbances (not sleeping well, waking up with a start, etc.)

Two months ago, she noticed her tongue was swollen (teeth marks on the side). A couple of days later she noticed white patches all over her tongue. Two pharmacists and three doctors have diagnosed oral thrush. She was on Nystatin pastilles for four weeks. There was a slow, very gradual improvement but there was still a white patch left near the back of her tongue and tongue was still swollen. Doctor said it could be irritation and to use salt water for two weeks.

Within three weeks - tongue still swollen - her whole tongue was white again. Went back to Doctor on Friday last week, was prescribed Sporanox (100 mg daily for 15 days). Also she has been for blood tests yesterday morning - as doctor wants to find the root cause (said would be tested for diabetes, thyroid problems, anemia, and anything else which might be affecting her immune system).

She has taken four Sporanox so far - there looks like there may be some improvement but not dramatic. She is now really suffering anxiety, worried sick about what the blood tests will show and has to wait a week for results. Worried about tongue still swollen - doctors don't seem to be listening to her about that.

She wonders if she may have some kind of allergy, as over the last couple of months she has suffered itchy eyes, sneezing fits, and general kind of irritation between throat/ears. Other than that, the anxiety, a bit of depression (though there is a good reason for that) and feeling tired through not sleeping enough, she doesn't have any other symptoms and feel OK.

Being on that condition, I can understand the pain and suffer she has felt. My friend has been having it too. She just started the zapper a couple of days ago but yesterday felt real sick. She thinks this is different from normal 'run-off'.
